Meet the Teachers Monday Sept 19th
First PTSA Meeting, this coming Monday, September 19 at BTW!
Mini School, Meet the Teachers, and
Rachel's Challenge Preview
Free, easy parking at the Lexus Silver Parking facility until 9 p.m.
{Located beneath the City Performance Hall (currently under construction), directly across (east of) Jack Evens Street from the Wyly Theatre.}
Agenda
6 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Check in and Schedule Pick Up: Zero Floor Refreshments: Green Room (outdoor courtyard, outside the cafeteria)
Parents, in preparation for mini school, please pick up your child's schedule. Then, join us for refreshments prior to the meeting.
6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. General Meeting and Rachel's Challenge Preview: MAT (Montgomery Arts Theater)
There is a brief (promise!) PTSA meeting with a welcome from Principal Fraley, followed by introductions of administrators and department heads. Patricia Arvanitis, PTSA president, will then give a quick synopsis of the PTSA's mission for this school year and provide an introduction of the PTSA officers.
After the meeting, if you have not already done so, it is important for you to pick up your child's schedule for the mini-school portion of our evening. Then, you may adjourn to your child's first classroom for the beginning of mini school and meet the teachers.
7:20 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mini School and Meet the Teachers
Step into your child's shoes! Visit their classrooms and meet their teachers. They will provide information such as: a course syllabus; grading, homework, and classwork policies; their contact information; and the best time to reach them.
7:20 p.m. - 8:05 p.m. Morning Classes
Attend your child's morning classes
8:05 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. Bites and Beverages Commons/Cafeteria
A short break will include beverages and desserts. (Yum!)
8:20 p.m. - 9 p.m. Afternoon Classes
Attend your child's afternoon classes.
